Installation & Usage Notes

• Not for engine starting: This battery is designed for deep-cycle service (house loads) and is not intended to replace a vehicle’s starter battery. 
• Charging: Ensure you use a charger or solar controller compatible with LiFePO₄ chemistry. The recommended charge voltage is around 14.2-14.6 V, with typical charge currents of 0.2 C (≈20 A) to 0.5 C (≈50 A) yielding full charge in approx. 5-2 hours respectively. 
• Series/Parallel Expansion: If multiple units are used, they must be identical (same capacity, same brand) and wired correctly. Up to 4 in series and 4 in parallel allowed (i.e., up to 16 units) for a combined bank. 
• Initial charging: On receipt, the battery may have a low state of charge due to shipping/storage — we recommend charging it as soon as possible. For long-term storage, charge to ~50% and maintain every ~3 months.
